Forget the Lib Dem conference, disregard David Cameron's power naps and the dog that looks like Vladimir Putin. Don't even spare a thought for Jon Snow's sitting-on-the-Tube antics , because there's only one piece of tabloidy tittle-tattle to dwell on this week. Yes, Arnie may just be getting his ass to Pandora to play the big bad in Avatar 2, a notion that's made us come over all blue. But if the prospect of an Schwarzenegger/Cameron reunion doesn't get your juices flowing, there's Kelsey Grammar in Expendables 3, Colin Firth as Paddington Bear, an interview with Bill S. Preston Esq. himself, Alex Winter, and a guide to surviving a whole year without a Pixar movie. Actually, you should check out the dog that looks like Putin. It's uncanny.

New Red Band Machete Kills Trailer
Head-chopping. Groin-pureeing. Skull-slicing. Weapons in unusual places. No, not your average Wednesday afternoon at Empire Towers (we're more about Toblerones, cups of tea and tormenting those who haven't caught up with Breaking Bad); it can only be the ultra-violent, camper-than-a-tent world of Robert Rodriguez' Machete. Now the furious former Federale is back for Machete Kills, which has a new red band trailer online. Warning: it... Oh, look, you know what you're in for, right?

I'll send you a picture of my face; it's extraordinary.

Phil isn't being immodest, he just got into an unfortunate accident while playing football and now looks like Gorbachev.

Empire's Ultimate Collection Of Film And TV Audition Tapes
'If you're a Breaking Bad fan, you've got to watch Aaron Paul's already-Jesse-before-he-started audition tape.' 'If you're an X-Men fan, you've got to watch Hugh Jackman reading Wolverine lines with a wobbly Aussie accent.' 'If you're a Indy fan, you've got to watch Tom Selleck, with 'tache, wearing the fedora...' Chances are, you've heard all these phrases at one point or another, and now you can watch all of the videos in question, all in one place. Incorporating the unlucky ones, like Selleck, who didn't get the parts they wanted, as well as costume screentests (Tippi Hedren for The Birds) and dialogue run-throughs (Robert Downey Jr. for Iron Man), this is our complete compendium of awkward audition awesomeness. When you're done, if you have a hankering for more video, check out our Ultimate Collection Of Movie Supercuts (if you dare).

28 Videos Every Breaking Bad Fan Should Have Watched By Now
There are no half measures when it comes to being a Breaking Bad fan . Either you love it, or you just haven't watched it yet. But you could be forgiven if you've only watched the episodes themselves, as opposed to the supercuts, sketches, skits, minisodes, parodies, bowling compeitions, musical interpretations, late night chat show appearances and special Breaking Bad editions of other shows that have also appeared over the years. Here, then, are 27 of our favourites, with dozens more suggestions to go alongside them. Have fun, bitch!

    Alex Winter Q&A
He may have become famous playing Bill S. Preston Esq., the man who once described Caesar as "a salad-dressing dude", but Alex Winter is not one to rest on his non-non-non-heinous laurels. Since directing carnival-comedy Freaked in 1993, he's put acting on the backburner, concentrating on picking up skills behind the camera. Now he's releasing his first documentary, Downloaded, a slick and very entertaining film which charts the rise and fall of file-sharing service Napster. Empire met up with him at a New York coffee shop to hear what inspired him to make it, and where things are at with Bill and Ted's next excellent adventure...

10 Movies To Get Excited About At The London Film Festival
The 57th BFI London Film Festival - from the people who brought you London Film Festivals 1 to 56 - could be the sequel of the summer. It's a 12-day filmic fête that will deliver cinematic splendour to your very doorstep from October 9. Unless, of course, your doorstep is in darkest Peru, in which case you'll miss the shiny galas, sparkly new feature films, shorts and documentaries on offer. But fear not, Peruvian pals! You'll be able to follow all the filmy action here over the next month, beginning with this must-see guide to 10 of the LFF's most exciting highlights.

There's No Pixar Film In 2014. Here Are 7 Steps To Help You Survive The Wait
Today Pixar announced that they are moving the planned release date of The Good Dinosaur from 2014 to 2015, to allow more time to rejig the movie following the removal of Bob Peterson as director. Originally due in May next year, the film will now be out in late 2015, after the summer release of Inside Out. Finding Dory, originally down for 2015 as well, has been shunted to 2016. This all means that 2014, for the first time since 2005, will be A Year Without A Pixar Film. How will you cope? Well, we have a few suggestions.

Rush Vs. Real Life: Where Fact Meets Fiction
Whether you think Formula One is the most exciting thing ever to invade our Sundays or just some blokes in overalls driving around in circles for two hours, Peter Morgan's terrific Rush script will teach you something about the sport you didn't know. It follows the volatile relationship between world champions James Hunt and Niki Lauda, one of most famous rivalries in sport, through their death-defying battles in the 1970s. But as with any 'true story' there's always more to it. Details have been tweaked and incidents exaggerated in the good name of storytelling. We've picked out ten things Rush didn't tell you.

    Paul Scheer Q&A
You may know comedian Paul Scheer from cult TV shows like Human Giant, The League or NTSF: SD: SUV. You may have spotted his cameos in Modern Family, 30 Rock or Party Down. Or, if you're unlucky, you may have rented Piranha 3DD, in which his return provides one of the few bright spots. But Scheer is best loved in the Empire office for his podcast How Did This Get Made? , in which he, wife June Diane Raphael and Jason Mantzoukas dissect atrocious films on a bi-weekly basis. We rang him up to get the skinny on Gymkata, Ving Rhames and being fired from Meet Dave...

50 Stunning Pieces Of Marvel Concept Art (And How They Compare To The Movie)
From Spider-Man to The Avengers, films based on Marvel comics have often dazzled us with their crazy visuals and interesting character design - whether it's been faithful to the comics or something entirely different. As Thor: The Dark World approaches release, we thought we'd look at the very best concept art for the Marvel universe...

50 Movie Supercars You Could Own (But Probably Can't Afford)
Fantasy movie cars are all very well - your Chitty Chitty Bang Bangs and your Benny the Cabs - but if you're a real movie enthusiast you probably want a film car you can actually own. Well, here's your lucky day! We've assembled 50 of the most ludicrously cool, ridiculously fast movie motors out there in one easy spot so you can plan your shopping list (once you win the lottery) and even highlighted the dangerous pitfalls to avoid in your ownership of each one...

    Fast And Furious 6

No film that includes a Vin Diesel flying headbutt could remotely be called a write-off, and Furious 6, like its predecessors, is a big screen no-brainer that's objectively terrible but undeniably pleasurable. A reversal from Fast 5, it's still a gear above all the other sequels. And an end-credits teaser promises much for the future...
