 | On The Move It's not until you move house that you realise quite how much crap you've accumulated over the years. This week Team Empire packed up our worldly possessions in preparation for our move to premises new, only to discover a startling array of miscellanea tucked behind filing cabinets and stuffed down the back of drawers. To wit, a full-size Darth Vader costume, an Indy whip, two sets of Army fatigues from Outpost, a cloak from The Magicians, a 300 shield, a Gladiator helmet, 6 (yes, SIX!) lightsabers, a Predator mask, a wakizashi (still sharp), a small rubber duck, all the Twilight novels, an axe, an empty Coke can once used by Jonathan Frakes, a Sweet & Sour Pot Noodle with the original foil lid, half a box of Kelloggs' Fruit & Fibre, a signed Valkyrie script, a crossbow, a garden spade and a blood-stained cricket bat. Quite how we're going to explain some of this to the movers is beyond me. James Dyer Online Editor, Empire | | |

 | | | | No worries, sweetheart - cool as a cucumber up an Archbishop's ass... John Goodman in Treme | | | | | |
 |
 | | | | | Treme: Won't Bow, Don't Know How There are always mixed emotions when the creator behind one of the best shows – if not the best – on television, and a personal favourite of many at Empire Towers, produces something new. Can it live up to the crushing weight of expectations? Will it wither when compared to the other series? It's like a new relationship where someone fresh will be measured against that one true love of your life. Read more. | | | |

 | | | | | Video: Ewan McGregor Talks The Ghost Ewan McGregor plays a Man With No Name in his film, The Ghost - but don't worry; he isn't remaking any Sergio Leone classics. Instead he's the ghost writer brought in to help a Tony Blair-like ex-Prime Minister write his autobiography in the new thriller from Roman Polanski. We talked to McGregor in London recently about his theories on his character's name, playing in the rain and working with the controversial director... | | |
| | | Video: Channing Tatum And Amanda Seyfried On Dear John Dear John may come from a book by Nicholas Sparks, author of The Notebook, but it's also a bit heavier than your usual chick flick, with war, disease and death all represented alongside the sighing and the kissing and the gorgeous stars. To get you the lowdown, we talked to the supernaturally buff Channing Tatum and the impossibly cute Amanda Seyfried about why this isn't just another love story... |
| | | Video: Jude Law And Forest Whitaker Talk Repo Men Sci-fi satire Repo Men is a buddy movie with a difference - namely, the buddies in question spend half the movie trying to kill each other. The film's born-again action stars Jude Law and Forest Whitaker talk us through their bruising training regimen and the movie's influences. Believe it or not, one of them is This Is England... |

| | | The Empire Video Diaries Empire's weekly videblogisodes continue apace – and, in one case, with Rapace – despite howls of public protest and a motion in the House Of Commons. This week, Richard Schiff – aka Toby from The West Wing – dropped in for a webchat and a little West Wing tribute that we had to shoot in one take, Chris writes a letter to Amanda Seyfried and Channing Tatum because he's not allowed to go within 50 yards of either of them, and Emilie de Ravin just won't stop laughing. Clearly, she hasn't seen the diaries. |
