 | Be Egg-Cellent To Each Other It's Easter, boys and girls, which means we get a four-day weekend and carte blanche to indulge in an orgy of hedonistic delights as we all binge on chocolate until we fall over and vomit on the carpet – just like when we were kids. Frankly, I could use a little chocolate as it's been one hell of a week. We had the Empire Awards on Sunday night (we returned to the Empire office from the after party at about 4am... and proceeded to put up all the coverage in assorted states of drunkenness. Hopefully you didn't notice) and I got a sack of hate mail for "egregious and unnecessary use of the 'c-word'" in last week's From The Postbag picture. I had no idea you were all such sensitive souls; honestly, you people wouldn't last five minutes in an office with Chris Hewitt. Anyway, Happy Easter one and all, enjoy your chocolate feast while drawing pictures of brightly coloured bunnies, and keep in mind that this is a holiday based entirely around capital punishment. Enjoy! James Dyer Online Editor, Empire | | |

 | | | | I need my shield with me. I also have a sword, a lightsaber and a full-size Darth Vader costume Actually this was me when asked what I needed to pack for the impending office move. Helen insisted I put this in despite the fact it makes me look like a lunatic/fetishist. | | | | | |

 | | | | | Can Claudia Winkleman Save Film 2010? In a year that saw Hollywood present the Best Director Oscar to a woman for the first time ever, the news that Claudia Winkleman is to replace Jonathan Ross as presenter of the BBC's Film 2010 show didn't exactly send out the shockwave the producers were perhaps expecting. But the truth is, I don't think too many people really care; all the story really boiled down to was this: New Presenter To Present TV Show. Read more. | | | |

 | | | | | The 2010 Jameson Empire Awards This Sunday saw the Jameson Empire Awards take place in the Grovesnor House Hotel in London, and it was a night of stardom, scandal and sex appeal - but enough about the Empire staff. Filmmakers and stars were out in force as we counted your votes and awarded prizes to the likes of Sir Ian McKellen, James Cameron, Jude Law and more. Click here for all the photos, videos, blogs and winners speeches that were fit to publish - and quite a few that probably weren't. | | |
| | | Game For A Laugh! Laugh, and the world laughs with you. Clearly, creative movie types agree, for they've had characters chuckle, giggle, guffaw, chortle, titter and cackle their way through movies since the dawn of time. Well, almost. From megalomaniacal villains to creepy demons to cartoon animals, we've collected some of the best laughs in movie history... and now all you have to do is name the film from which they came. Sounds easy? Well, give it a go if you're game for a laugh... |
| | | How To Pick Your Dragon This week's DreamWorks CG animated release How To Train Your Dragon showcases an impressive array of reptilian beasties, and for once actually makes them look pretty cool. But movie history is replete with examples of dragons, so we thought we'd provide a useful guide those you could team up with, and those you should really avoid. |
| | | The 8 Most Kick-Ass Movie Vigilantes Inspired by the get-in-your-green-wetsuit-and-whack-baddies-with-sticks ethos of Dave Lizewski from Kick-Ass, we've gathered together the baddest good guys ever to make you question your sense of justice and at least attempt to clean up the streets. And yep, we've left superheroes aside for this one, as almost everyone in a cape takes the law into their own hands. Seriously, we'd be here for ages, those no good latex-wearing crime fighters... |
| | | Kick-Ass: The Junket Interviews Matthew Vaughn's wonderful comic book movie Kick-Ass - which, to quote someone on Twitter this week, "kicks it out of the park, in the balls and up your bum" - opens this week. So we're marking the occasion with glorious video interviews with Vaughn and his stars, Aaron Johnson and Chloe Moretz. |
| | | Edgar Wright Talks Scott Pilgrim Teaser Trailer So, the Scott Pilgrim Vs The World trailer debuted on Thursday night and, lo, it was uniformly well-received. Unsurprising, really, for it's a scintillating 85-second burst of electric shock energy that has put Edgar Wright's comic book adaptation firmly on the must-see map. So, naturally, we grabbed the Hot Fuzz and Shaun Of The Dead director to talk us through the highlights of the year's best teaser. |
| | | S-Cannes-dal! While Cannes is famed for rewarding the very best films in the world, it can sometimes hand out the big prize to films that vanish from view, while ignoring others that go on to become classics. With that in mind, we've reviewed the last 62-odd years of Cannes winners to identify the winners that have been eclipsed by their defeated competitors, and the great films that were scandalously overlooked… |

 | | | | | Clash of the Titans Poorly written nonsense, but lovers of beefcake action will be happy enough with the heroes gymnastically vaulting monsters and slicing and dicing their way around the ancient world. An extra star for Ralph Fiennes, who is a god. | | | | Also Out | | | Watch Video This Week's Video Trailers And Clips Every week, our video player will update to show trailers and clips from the week's movie releases listed above. | | |

 | | | | | The Informant It sets out to be less pompous than similar films, which inevitably means it feels less substantial. While amusing rather than hilarious, it ought to establish Matt Damon as a star character actor. | | | | Also Out | | |
