This Week...
With most of the team at Comic-Con this week, there's something of a skeleton crew here in the office. Still, we're amusing ourselves with continuing speculations about the true meaning of Inception, an ongoing cake-eating competition and regular outings to interview a few big A-list stars who haven't headed to San Diego this week. That said, it's all about the 'Con really, and our crack team of James, Chris, Sam, Nick and James are out there to cover every bit of news as it happens. Keep up to date with them on our blog and with regularly-posted news stories all weekend, as well as on Twitter and in our iconic, unstoppable videblogisodes. Will Videblogisode Man return again this year? Just wait and see…

    Comic-Con 2010
It's no secret that Comic-Con is absolutely huge. To get an idea of exactly how huge you need look no further than preview night. Two years ago it was just a case of the main floor opening for a few hours the day before the Con started so that those who'd flown into San Diego a day early had more to do than scarf Subways and wander the streets getting beaten up by sailors from the local naval base. Nowadays the 'quiet preview' of everything on offer at the Con is rammed from port to starboard, hordes of sweating bodies swarming the aisles in a geektacular stampede that rivals anything you'll find on Saturday – the traditional 'rush' day.

Video: Toy Story 3 Location Report And Interviews
One day Pixar might make a movie that isn't an animated masterpiece, but really don't hold your breath. The wonderful Toy Story 3 certainly isn't that film. We sent our roving reporter to the World's Greatest Workplace (aka Pixar HQ) to talk to director Lee Unkrich, Tom Hanks and Tim Allen - and a host of other Toy Story talent - and get the lowdown on Buzz, Woody, Jesse and Co's trip to Sunnyside Nursery. And as a bonus, Timothy Dalton talked us through the secret of Mr. Pricklepants's lederhosen.

    Tron Legacy: The Trailer Breakdown
At Comic-Con Disney unveiled the latest and most complete trailer yet for Tron Legacy, the belated sequel to the groundbreaking 1982 computer-animation adventure. Here's what you'll spot in this new promo...

Video: Andy Garcia and Dominik Garcia-Lorido on City Island
Talented family, the Garcias. Not content with being an Oscar-nominated actor as well as a writer, producer, musician and style icon (don't laugh, we'll all be wearing these moustaches soon), Andy Garcia has also sired four talented children. His daughter, Dominik Garcia-Lorido, appears with him in City Island, a funny, wry look at families and the lies they tell. We took the opportunity to find out which of her dad's movies is her favourite. Unsurprisingly, it wasn't The Pink Panther 2.

The greatest cake ever. Not only did it look awesome, but it tasted even better. Thanks, Toy Story 3, Feref and the talented ladies at www.icedovercakes.co.uk.

The last Scott Pilgrim book, Scott Pilgrim's Finest Hour, is well good.

There may be such a thing as "too much cake" after all.

When two interviewees in a row turn up over an hour late, it's time to realise that you're cursed and should send someone else to cover junkets.

The Republic for Venice had a deliberately complicated system for five hundred years so that, when electing a new Doge, no one could fix the vote.

The obesity epidemic has now claimed a star. Look, it's just big corona-ed, OK?

Continuing the cake theme, inappropriate superhero cakes. Pencil vs. Camera: photography + art=awesome. A Newport State of Mind. Awkward pet photos.

If you have any timewasters to share, then e-mail them in to me.

    Toy Story 3

A kids' movie for grown-ups. A grown-up movie for kids. Exactly what you'd expect — and hope for — from the latest, and we're guessing final, Woody and Buzz adventure.
